OK as we all know Baileys birthday is at the end of this month. She is going to be 2 years old!!!! I can not believe she is going to be so old! I will save the sob story for another day, we have a huge problem on our hands. I can not figure out what to do for her birthday! I bought this dress below in Louisiana a few months back with all intentions of doing her birthday party around this dress. Well I couldn't get any cute ideas for it. So I thought I will just go with a Mickey/Minnie theme because she is obsessed with them right now. Let me remind you...I am not a fan of characters. I will buy character things when she is old enough to ask for them, until then I choose, especially clothes (sorry Mommy's who like them).
Anyways, my idea with the dress is to do everything in polka dots. Then do lots of round candy and lollipops.
Opinions please!! Stick with the dress or go with Mickey/Minnie?????

I love that idea! I never bought ANY cartoon clothes for Kyle or those stupid light up shoes!
You could even do bright colored cupcakes too instead of a huge cake and have an ice cream bar with flavored syrups and all kinds of toppings, nuts and colored sprinkles(sorry, I just had to throw that in there, you know how I am about my ice cream!)
Or can even do a candy bar with cute bags for your guest to fill with bright colored candies that match the colors in her dress.
Oh girl I have tons of party ideas going through my head now!
I am with Trish, I LOVE the cupcake idea. The ice cream bar sounds like so much fun and that is what her dress reminds me of. It gives me that Fun feeling when I look at it.
Stick with the dress. It is adorable. We had a polka dot theme last year for the girls' b-day party. (their bdays are only 2 weeks apart)It was really cute, and fun!

That's balloons on the dress so balloons are a must.. for birthday parties.
humm colorful foods to go with if you are planing foods. fruit kabobs comes to mind.
Colorful streamers. After the winter we had I am sure everyone will love the bright colors....
