Well I decided to do another interview with Bailey.  The last two times I asked these questions were September '11 and September '12.  It is now May 2013 and lets see what her answers are and how they have changed.

I went to the doctor Wednesday morning.  I was 37 weeks and 4 days.  I was so over being pregnant.  This little squirt had kicked me so much and I just couldn't breathe or have any energy to do anything.  My sister went with me to the doctor and Jason stayed at home with Bailey. Dr Aliff asked if she wanted me to strip my membranes aka try to get labor going.  When she checked me I was still 2 cm dilated.  She went ahead and stripped my membranes and boy did it hurt. I am pretty sure I almost broke my sisters hand as I squeezed.  She said it normally works to get things started and she expected to see me in labor Thursday night. We joked hopefully it was sooner so we wouldn't miss Greys Anatomy.  She told me to walk, walk, walk, that it helped get things started.

We came home and Jason went hunting and Misty, Bailey and myself went to Red Lobster, Target, Toys R Us.  I just walked.....very slowly.  I had some cramps and just wasn't feeling the greatest.  We came home and I googled about getting membranes stripped and if it really worked.  I would have random contractions but nothing big.  Jason got home around 7 and I was having more contractions just not regular.  Around 8 they were hurting more but nothing regular.  They got worse and worse but weren't lasting that long.  Jason ended up laying in bed with Bailey and I was going to go to bed soon.  I went to lay down and I was in so much pain that I couldnt lay down.  I came back out and sat on the excersise ball for awhile.  Then I decided maybe if I took a shower it would make things either stop and I could go to bed or if they kept coming I was in real labor. I showered and they kept coming.  I then made Jason get up and come out and sit with me while we debated back and forth if we should go to hospital. The contractions on average were 5 minutes apart but not lasting a full minute like they should be to to go hospital.  We called the on call doctor and asked him opinion and he said if I was in that much pain to come in.

I decided that this would be a good time to pack my bags lol!  Yes I had only packed a few things and decided to get everything together right now.  We called my mom and she came over around 1 in the morning.  We got to the hospital around 2:00.  We asked the secirty guard where to go and he tried to tell us and I started having a contraction and I think he thought I was going to deliver right then because he ended up escorting us to the right spot. I got in the room and they weighed me and got me a gown and hooked me up to see what was going on.  I still was only 2 cm dialted.  So they let me have contractions for about an hour and checked again and still nothing changed.  She called the oncall doctor and he told me to walk for an hour and then check.  We walked around in a circle at the hospital for a whole hour while I stopped every few feet for a contraction.  (Contractions are no joke) They checked me and I had went like a half cenimeter. So the doc said they could either send me home or try walking one more time.  I chose to walk.....there was no way I could go home in as much pain as I was in.  Then the nurse asked me if I wanted to take a shower.  I took a shower and it made me feel so much better and I went to 3 1/2 and when she checked me she stretched me a little bit to get me going more.

By this time my doctor was taking calls and allowed me to be admitted and said Dr Lao would be in and would break my water.  He came in a little after 7 and checked me and broke my water.  Contractions then got worse.  I was begging for my epidural.  They came in and gave it to me at 8 and then I started going really fast.  I was telling them I knew I had to push (more like yelling I feel like I had to poop).  They kept telling me to breathe through it. My sister walked in and I was like someone has to get my camera.  I didn't expect it to happen so fast that we hadnt brought anything in.  She no longer got the camera back in and I was ready.  Finally Dr Lao came back quick and  we were ready to roll.  I pushed 3 times and Mr. Maddox (name unknown at this time) was born at 9:09 am.  I remember while pushing saying if someone doesn't get me a sweet tea from Mcds something bad would happen.  Once I pushed him out I had never felt so much relief in all my life.  I couldn't believe how miserable I actually had been until I actually delivered and wasn't pregnant anymore.  He came out crying and as soon as they layed him on me.....he peed! :)

Jason went and got Bailey and she was obsessed from then on.

36 weeks 5 days Baby Boy

I am only doing this for personal reasons because now I am going back and looking a things from Bailey and wishing I wrote more.  We went to the doctor today and and we are 2 cm dilated and 70% effaced.  She is guessing he weighs about 7 lbs right now.  Whooaaa!!  She thinks I will go in the next week and a half at most.  She will induce me at 39 weeks, but doesn't think I will make it that long.  We went to the pumpkin festival today and I made myself walk, walk, walk hoping to help progress this labor and get this baby here!  I am OVER being pregnant right now.  Two nights ago I had contractions for awhile but not long enough to go in.  They were around 30-40 seconds everyone 5 minutes.  They stopped for awhile but would randomly wake me up through the night!!  Heres hoping for a single digit October birthday :) haha

Just got home from my doctor appointment with Baby B.  We are 35 weeks and 5 days and 1 cm dialated.  I was checking back to see what I was with Bailey and saw this survey.  Realized it was done a year ago and thought I would re ask Bailey the same questions.  She hasn't changed much as you can tell.  The second answer is the new one. The first one is from a year ago.

I heart faces contest!- Beautiful eyes!

Went for a walk around downtown Charleston and stopped for some ice cream!  She was loving it!  

For all wondering minds!  This is whats going on right now in our lives.  I really don't like to talk about, I don't like to explain it, I am mad, I am sad, I don't understand why, I am over it!!!!

• We had an HSG dye test done April 11 to check my tubes and make sure I had no blockages that was causing us to not get pregnant.  Everything looked fine.  They said I was more fertile after "cleaning everything out"
• Jason went to China for two weeks, but not before I ovulated.
• I started cramping about a week before I was supposed to start, which I always do. Figured I wasn't preggo. Never thought anything about.
• I was supposed to start my period Thursday.  Had big plans hoping I was pregnant and buying a "Big Sister" shirt and taking balloons to airport to surprise Daddy that we were pregnant.
• Wednesday morning I was changing one of the little girls diapers I babysit and the smelled made me so sick I threw up in my mouth and and to run to bathroom.  I thought hmmm maybe I am pregnant because the smell of something made me so sick. Took a test it was negative. Got on with my week not surprised I wasn't pregnant.
• Jason comes up Saturday and I still hadn't started but my period.  We go to breakfast on Sunday for his bday and on the way home I say "Should I buy another test?"  He said he will run back out later and get one.
• Later that afternoon he runs out and gets a test and I take it we stand there waiting for it to be negative and hes reading to see what exactly  a positive looks like and bamm there ya go!!! I handed it to him and said Happy Birthday!!  IT WAS POSITIVE!!
• We were in shock to say the least!  I had never been so excited about my boobs hurting and my stomach cramping!
• Monday I went to doctor for blood test to confirm the two test I took at home.  We went out that evening and I started getting so tired and was falling asleep in the car. I went to bed at 8 that night!  Once again, never been so happy to be so tired just because I knew it was because I was pregnant. 
• Tuesday- got the call from doctor confirming I was pregnant, but levels were really low and they put me on progesterone pills.  She also told me there was a chance of miscarriage. 
• Went back for another count of Wednesday and my HCG levels went from a 52 to a 53.  They are supposed to double every other day.  They knew I was going to miscarry after that.  It was nothing they could or done or nothing I could have done.  It just wasn't mean to be.
• I started miscarrying Thursday night.  
• Now we are right where we started...only child! :(
• When we say we don't want to talk about it....we don't want to talk about. Maybe we will....maybe we wont, but until then it's something that we can't bring ourselves to talk about with others.

Makeover!

Well as you can tell I have a new look! I won this look at a contest on The Drama Mama blog.  I have been trying to get myself back into blogging and thought if I won I would start blogging again!  Well I won and here I am blogging! Especially because my dad reminds me all the time that the last time I blogged was like October 4th!  So since October 4th lots of things have been going on!  Here are a few pictures...I tried uploading more but it was taking forever so I gave up.  Thought I would share these and get back at doing this better another day!  I will add more pictures and let you in on whats been going on!  I just hope this time it doesnt take another 5 of so months to come back! 

Im back!

I have been gone for awhile I know!  Life around here is a little hectic right now.  As we all know school started back, which means I am in full swing of babysitting.  I have two extra kids all day everyday, one is 13 months and the other is 16 months.  I also have another little boy that comes Tuesday and Thursday until noon and he is 22 months!  Did I mention that I have a two year old running around????  Lets just say my house is always a mess with toys, we have lots of screaming going on, and lots of time outs around here!!

My photography business is kinda crazy as well.  I didn't really think it would take off like this but it sure is keeping me busy.  It is a little overwhelming at times because I am with the kids all day and then either have a photoshoot in the evening or have to work on pictures.  I am a little overwhelmed at times and very sleepy!!! 

Bailey is growing up to be something else!  She talks ALL the time!  She talks back too!  Thats really great!  Some Bailey sayings:

She walked into the kitchen this weekend and looked at Jason and said "I wanna go shopping"  I taught her well!

She asks all the time "What chu doing?"
We were walking downstairs and looked at a pile of laundry and I asked her "will you do laundry for me?"  She replied with "I do laundry when I'm older"
Everytime you ask her if shes sleepy, or mad, or anything she replies..."NO I'm happy"

She has really gotten into playing with our phones.  It was a fight all day and evening for her to play games and watch videos on our phones.  So we decided to get her an IPOD touch!    She loves the thing.  She calls it her phone.  She knows how to go in and out of different games and play some of them better than me.  She can go into youtube and watch different videos.  The kid really amazes me with the things she can do on there.  It definatly was worth the money!

Well things are so busy around here.  We are putting the finishing touches on Bailey's room and I can't wait to share with you.  I am completely booked for the month of August for photoshoots.  I am doing two sometimes three photoshoots a week!!! Thanks Jack for the tickets and everything!  Bailey loved everything about the game.  In case you all didn't know Bailey is obsessed with BASEBALL!  She loves going to her daddy's game she talks about the game all the time, and will even sit and watch it on TV!!  It was definatetly an experience we will never forget!   Oh yeah Bailey sings take me out to the ballgame at least 20 times a day! She loves it!  Hopefully we will be able to come to another game, but fingers crossed it still won't be 90 degrees when we leave at 9 at night!
