Year end review

Happy New Year to all!  I am pretty sure this past weekend has been one of the laziest I have had in a long time.  We watched movies, stayed inside (right now its 19 degrees out), wore PJs all day, I didn't wear makeup or even dry my hair.  It was a great weekend actually my favorite kind of weekend or any day for that matter.  I thought I would take a stroll down memory lane of the past year and what all we have done.

Bailey learned how to crawl and climb on everything.

I am not sure if it was the first big snow, but it was the first snow Bailey experienced.  She obviously didn't really care about it.  We also went to Columbus, OH for February to celebrate Valentines day and of course do lots of shopping.  It was Baileys first time in a hotel and she did so good thing whole weekend.

Bailey was getting into everything. When I wanted to cook the easiest thing to do was just open the cabinet and let her go at it.  Bailey also started walking with a push walker.

It started to get warm and we could actually go to the park.  Bailey started walking this month.

May is a very busy month for us.  Jason turned 27 on the first.  We celebrated our second wedding anniversary on the 12th.  Then best of all we celebrated Bailey's 1st Birthday Party.  We had a great time at her ladybug party.  We also got to experience lots of time in the pool at our house and Mama and Papas house.  She loved the water from the beginning.

Bailey got really into baby dolls and playing little momma.  We still played in the pool lots.  We made a trip to PA to visit family.  Bailey was big enough to turn around in the carseat.  That definatly made road trips a little better.  I also got my new very nice camera!

This was a very busy month for us.  I was in a wedding in Charleston, SC and we had a vacation in Mytle Beach.  We were gone for 12 days.  We had a blast seeing friends we hadn't seen in awhile.  It was my first all day/night (almost) away from Bailey.  We had a blast at the beach afterwards.  It was our first family vacation and actually our first vacation ever because we never went on a honeymoon.  Bailey was a tropper!  She prefered the beach over all the pools they had.  Next year is gonna be even better.

We were still adjusting this month after being gone for almost 2 weeks.  Summer is always harder after you have been on vacation I think.  The pool is just not the same after looking at the ocean for a week.
Bailey had her first corn on the cob.  We also started watching Jackson this month.  That definatly changed out laid back routine of just mommy and Bailey.  Oh yeah Did I mention that I celebrated my birthday!

Marshall University homecoming was this month.  All my girls meet at the sorority house we lived in back in the day and and hang out then go tailgate.  This is a few of us with the kiddies.  It is always a fun time.  Bailey climbed out of her crib this month.  Luckily, that was a one time thing, so far!  Jason went to China for 2 weeks, always a tough time! (Major props to single/army moms!)

Of course we went trick or treating and Bailey dressed up as a bumble bee.  I attended another wedding of a friend.  Bailey decorated cookies for the very first time.  Jason bought a new truck. We had family in from out of town for a weekend.  We also went to the pumpkin festival and had lots of yummy food there.

We went to PA for Thanksgiving and also celebrated Christmas there.  We put our tree and all christmas decorations up.

We took a trip to VA where we got stuck in a snow storm on the way home.  Had a great Christmas and Bailey got to have fun in the snow!!  It was a great end to a great year.

On another note, I totally saw a Vera Bradley in one of your pictures!!!! Gotta love it!

AND, my husband and I graduated from Northern Illinois University and Marshall used to be in our conference, even though they were in the east and we are the west. Crazy. :)
