Got milk?? or A Diaper Break?

If you have a weak stomach or find bodily functions gross I suggest stop reading right now.  Some of you may know that Bailey has an issue with constipation.  Some times she will go weeks without having a problem with having a bowel movement.  We have a powder mix we put in her drink that helps her go to the bathroom easier, but I don’t feel the need to give it to her if she is not always constipated.  So as soon as I feel she is going to have an issue or hasn’t done a #2 in awhile I start giving it to her.  Well right now is a time of constipation.  When she feels the need to go to the bathroom she tenses up, turns reds, and cries.  I have to pull her to the floor take her diaper off and hold her legs up like labor and delivery style.  The whole time she is screaming and crying and kicking to get her legs free.  She tries to push the #2 out, but doesn’t always work.  This happens at least 6 or 7 times before she actually gets it out.  When I get lucky she starts to push it out and it is horrible.  The #2 is way to hard and big for her little body to push out, but she somehow does it. Anyways that is how my morning has been.  Crying, pushing, and diaper changing.

After that we came upstairs for lunch.  I give Bailey a sippy cup with milk and send her on her way while I am making lunch.  She's laughing and doing her thing in the living room.  I heard them pounding on something, but thought it was the windows, which they often do.  I didn’t think twice about anything because the kids sound like they are having fun.  I walk in their and guess what I see???????  Her whole cup of milk on my couch!  No I don't mean the cup sitting there.  I mean she had shaken the cup upside down ‘til all of the milk dripped on the couch.

These are after I had scrubbed on it.  This is how large the area of milk was..  It was about 6 ozs of milk!!!!  I have scrubbed on it a total of 3 times right now.  I am so ready for the weekend.  Have a great weekend.

Yummy Pudding

I bet you thought I was going to give you this great recipe that you would have to run home and make huh????  WRONG!  But if you want the directions on how to make instant pudding let me know!  I'm your girl.  We actually decided to have a really fun and messy day again in the Brouse House. Remember when we made this mess?  Well we decided to pull the pudding out again.  But this time Jackson was old enough to play this time.  I thought Bailey would love playing in the pudding again.

We are just starting out.  They really don't know what to think.

Bailey won't touch it with her hands.  So she uses a spoon!

Jackson uses his hands.

Bailey stays clean.

Jackson doesn't.

She gives in...and then asks for a towel.

This is Bailey's paper.

These are Jackson's.
Now we are done.....Almost!
Can't forget the bath!!

What do you do to entertain your kids during the winter months?

Beep Beep

My dad got us VIP tickets to the international auto show here in Charleston.  In my sister and Jason's eyes it meant FREE alcohol. We thought why not lets go its free and its not like we had anything else to do that evening.  We walked around looked at all the cars all the dealerships had brought it.  There was a lot of people walking around in tuxes and fancy dresses while I was in my tights, dress, and UGG boots.  Thats about as dressy as it gets for me unless I am going to a wedding.  Anyways we all looked around and found the cars that we wanted.

My sister found a camaro and the free beer.
Bailey decides she likes the camaro too.
She thinks it drives pretty good too.
I wanted a picture of us and she was to into the cars!
Mamaw Nette found a Honda that she wanted.  Bailey had to test it out too.
Then I found the car that I really really want. A GMC Denali.  Jason says I have to get a job first.
But Bailey really likes it...PAAALEASE????
Jason wasn't into getting in the cars, but I talked him into a picture before we left the mall.

I have only had 3 cars that I have actually owned.  My parents always told us we could get a car when we could afford the car and the insurance.  So I didn't get a car until and I was 21 years old.  I had friends that had cars and I could drive my parents when they weren't using theirs (which was pretty often). I had my first car for about a year and a half, my second for about two years, and the one I have now for almost a year.  After going up to the car show I really am wanting a new one already.   I am always wanting something different because I get bored!

I also want to thank to very good blog friends of mine.  I have received awards from both of them one recently and one a few weeks ago that I haven't thanked her for! Sorry Trish!  Go check out both of their blogs when you get a chance.

Trish blogs about a little bit of everything.  Right now she is showing us pictures of her house that her and her hubby built themselves.

Tesa  blogs about her life as a mom to two preschool aged kids.  She always has funny stories these two youngins' have done or said!  She also has great reviews on different products.

Snow Day

I am a little late for a weekend update but here it is.  As we all know it snowed again everywhere.  It wasn't as bad as last time, but it was still snow!!!    The roads were the bad part because I guess the snow trucks and plows dont work Friday night and Saturday.  When we got up Saturday we decided to go to my parents house to sled down their hill and play in their yard.  We ended up spending the whole day there almost.  Plus my mom was making potato soup and of course we had to have some for dinner!

Snow is not just for kids.  Aunty Misty had to join in.
Who's having more fun?
Daddy took a turn.
Jason and my dad went to my grandmas to shovel snow.  Jason came back with some orange drink.
Bailey thought it was really good obviously!
It was a rough day!
