Im back!

I have been gone for awhile I know!  Life around here is a little hectic right now.  As we all know school started back, which means I am in full swing of babysitting.  I have two extra kids all day everyday, one is 13 months and the other is 16 months.  I also have another little boy that comes Tuesday and Thursday until noon and he is 22 months!  Did I mention that I have a two year old running around????  Lets just say my house is always a mess with toys, we have lots of screaming going on, and lots of time outs around here!!

My photography business is kinda crazy as well.  I didn't really think it would take off like this but it sure is keeping me busy.  It is a little overwhelming at times because I am with the kids all day and then either have a photoshoot in the evening or have to work on pictures.  I am a little overwhelmed at times and very sleepy!!!

Bailey is growing up to be something else!  She talks ALL the time!  She talks back too!  Thats really great!  Some Bailey sayings:

She walked into the kitchen this weekend and looked at Jason and said "I wanna go shopping"  I taught her well!
She asks all the time "What chu doing?"
We were walking downstairs and looked at a pile of laundry and I asked her "will you do laundry for me?"  She replied with "I do laundry when I'm older"
Everytime you ask her if shes sleepy, or mad, or anything she replies..."NO I'm happy"

She has really gotten into playing with our phones.  It was a fight all day and evening for her to play games and watch videos on our phones.  So we decided to get her an IPOD touch!    She loves the thing.  She calls it her phone.  She knows how to go in and out of different games and play some of them better than me.  She can go into youtube and watch different videos.  The kid really amazes me with the things she can do on there.  It definatly was worth the money!

Children are so life changing

Do you ever sit and wonder what you did before you had children?  I do all the time and think how funny it is how having a child can change your life in so many ways.  Don't get me wrong I love my life as a mommy and would never go back to the old days, but it sure is nice to reminisce of those fun times.
Jason and I lived in VA beach for about 2 1/2 years.  Our apartment was about 10 minutes from the oceanfront.  We normally didn't go down there because it was always crowded.  We went to a small beach called "Chick's Beach." (The spelling could be wrong)  We would get our cooler and head over to the grocery store.  There we would get all necessities for a long day at the beach: water, magazine or two, beer, bread, lunch meat, and a bag of chips. We would sit at the beach, just the two of us, and drink beer and just enjoy each other and of course soak up the sun.
On days it was cloudy or cold we would lay around the apartment.  We would blow up the air mattress and watch any type of marathon that was on TV that day or lifetime movies.  They were lazy and uninterrupted days.
If we were traveling somewhere for the weekend it was so easy.  I could pack Thursday night for a weekend trip and not forget a thing.  Where ever we were going we would meet up with friends and hang out until the wee hours of the morning.  Our biggest worry was if the dogs were OK staying wherever we were. Oh yeah the other worry was that we weren't too hung over to drive back home.
I remember when we could go shopping for what we wanted and get it and leave.  There was no getting the stroller out of the car, making sure we had diapers and wipes, a bottle and formula or the sippy cup . Don't forget the snacks to help ya get through the trip without being asked a millions times if they can get out!
That brings me to my purse.  I have always carried a large purse.  It has always been full at all times.  Right now it is full with my wallet, change purse, cell phone, diapers, toys, wipes, sippy cup, a smashed cereal bar, and goldfish crumbs at the bottom. Honestly, I have no clue what I carried before to make is so heavy and full before.
I remember we were sitting at the apartment the Christmas before we got married.  We didn't go to either of our home states that year to visit, but I don't remember why.  We were having a conversation about how bored we were and it didn't feel like Christmas.  I said, "Think of how much fun it would be if we had a kid running around and a bunch of toys."

Well here we are with our weekends full of chasing around a little girl with no TV besides Elmo and Mickey. I even tape things on the DVR and forget to watch them or just don't have time. If we have the air mattress out its for jumping and flipping on.
If we travel I start a week before just so I don't forget anything.
I spend more money shopping because I get so sidetracked (ooops).
Our Christmas morning is full of toys and smiles with just the 3 of us!!!
I wouldn't have it any other way!!!
Oh yeah if your hungry just check the bottom of my purse there's always something there!!!

YES my windows are always that that dirty please ignore.  They the pefect height for little fingers to touch all day long.  Doesn't matter how often I clean them!  I always say they are the best entertainment in the house!!

Fun from PA

Jason's family came in a few weeks ago.  Bailey loved having the company and always someone to play with.  We went shopping and to a flea market with everyone.  I almost had Jason talked into buying Bailey a pet rabbit.  They were so cute and tiny, but decided I didn't want the mess of cleaning its cage.  I think the frog we have is a hassle enough.  Anyways, Nanny (Jasons mom), Aunty Eash, and Gam brough stuff to make cookies with.  We all know the closest to homemade cookies around here come from a package.  Bailey loves to help anyone cook, so she was right in the middle of everything.  Here are some pictures of her helping out.

She loves to stir things.
Taste test....
APPROVED!
Can you tell by the look on her face she hates for her hands to be dirty?

Beep Beep

My dad got us VIP tickets to the international auto show here in Charleston.  In my sister and Jason's eyes it meant FREE alcohol. We thought why not lets go its free and its not like we had anything else to do that evening.  We walked around looked at all the cars all the dealerships had brought it.  There was a lot of people walking around in tuxes and fancy dresses while I was in my tights, dress, and UGG boots.  Thats about as dressy as it gets for me unless I am going to a wedding.  Anyways we all looked around and found the cars that we wanted.

My sister found a camaro and the free beer.
Bailey decides she likes the camaro too.
She thinks it drives pretty good too.
I wanted a picture of us and she was to into the cars!
Mamaw Nette found a Honda that she wanted.  Bailey had to test it out too.
Then I found the car that I really really want. A GMC Denali.  Jason says I have to get a job first.
But Bailey really likes it...PAAALEASE????
Jason wasn't into getting in the cars, but I talked him into a picture before we left the mall.

I have only had 3 cars that I have actually owned.  My parents always told us we could get a car when we could afford the car and the insurance.  So I didn't get a car until and I was 21 years old.  I had friends that had cars and I could drive my parents when they weren't using theirs (which was pretty often). I had my first car for about a year and a half, my second for about two years, and the one I have now for almost a year.  After going up to the car show I really am wanting a new one already.   I am always wanting something different because I get bored!

I also want to thank to very good blog friends of mine.  I have received awards from both of them one recently and one a few weeks ago that I haven't thanked her for! Sorry Trish!  Go check out both of their blogs when you get a chance.

Trish blogs about a little bit of everything.  Right now she is showing us pictures of her house that her and her hubby built themselves.

Tesa  blogs about her life as a mom to two preschool aged kids.  She always has funny stories these two youngins' have done or said!  She also has great reviews on different products.

Boring days and a package

Wish I could say something exciting has been going on thats why I haven't posted anything.  Jason got home on Friday and was tired from traveling.  We sat around all evening and had a really lazy Saturday.  Well actually we did laundry all day, so it wasn't that lazy.  Sunday we ran a few errands and then went to my parents for dinner.

Guess what I got Monday??????  A new lens for my camera.  I have been debating for months whether or not I wanted to get it.  I have read several different blogs saying that its their favorite and highly suggest it. Its not like I am a professional and need all these lenses, but I love taking pictures!! I finally caved in and bought it with my Christmas money.  I have been playing with it all day.  So there will be lots of pictures coming up that I have been taking because I am totally obsessed.  I don't really know exactly how to use it that well yet so some pictures are a little blurry!

We also got a package in the mail today!

YAHHH Thanks Nanny!!  First off Jason has decided to stop smoking.  Jasons mom sent us the start up kit of chantix and the next few months.  This has been a long battle to get him to stop, but hopefully it will work.

She also sent Bailey a little something in the package and she loved it!

Santa came early!!

**Warning**This post could possibly be a lot of rambling so I am going to go ahead and apologize ahead of time for that.  These pictures are what my house looked like after returning home and the reasoning behind the lack of postings.  They don't even include the luggage and bags of shoes and bathroom things and all the other random things I packed.

(The laundry basket is full with toys that I am moving out to make room for the new.)
It was a crazy/busy few days.  We went to visit Jason's family in PA and ran and ran to see everyone.  We also had a funeral we had to attend while we were there for his uncle.   On top of doing Thanksgiving with all sides of his family up there we also did Christmas with them.  Yahh for presents!!! I like to be at our own house for Christmas because we get to spend lots of family time with just the 3 of us.  So we usually do christmas a little early with them there.

(I have a dining room table there somewhere)
I wish I had all kinds of fun pictures to put up from our trip.  I didn't get the camera out of the car once.  Can you believe it??  Since I got this new camera I take pictures of everything.  I even took the smaller camera that takes short videos and we didn't get either out of the car.

(Trish this picture is for you.  You told me the only thing that was missing was the tree.  It was there in the mess too!!  IT is now up and decorated!!  Pics coming later
)
Bailey had a blast the whole time.  She loved playing with so many different people.  Sometimes she would act shy at first but that only lasted a little bit.  Then she was running around and playing and laughing.  We didn't get back until Sunday evening and the whole 5 days we were gone she only took one nap.  She would take 10 minute naps here and there in between stops, but other than that nothing.  In case you don't know I am a firm believer in naps....LONG naps.  She naps every day and I work my schedule around that nap.

(These are just some of the toys she got)
We had no intentions of shopping on black friday but ended up Jason of all people wanted to go.  He just wanted to get out and do something or maybe I am making a shopper out of him after all.  We get up and and get ready after Bailey gets up and no we weren't one of you crazy people that were up and at the store at 4 in the morning or earlier!

(She got this playpen for her babies.  Right now it is crammed full of anything and everything that fits)
Jason is showering and I am trying to get things ready to get in there after him plus get Baileys things together so he can get her ready.  I go to put my first contact in and I felt the worst pain I have ever felt.  My eye felt like it was going to melt out of my eye.  I immediatly take the contact back out.  I have no clue what the problem was.  I have put a contact in before and it bothered my eyes and I wait a bit and then try again and I am over it.  Not this time.  My eye bothered me all day.  I ended up having to wear my glasses for the day.  I was thinking well by this evening everything will be fine and I can wear contacts again.  WRONG! I am not one to go to the doctor for many things.  I may complain a lot and be very sick, but I don't go to the doctor.  I just don't like too!!  Well it got to be around 9:00 that night and it wasn't getting any better.  I honestly thought I was going to wake up and be blind in my right eye.  OK I know this story is getting way too long.  I end up going to the ER because it burnt so bad when I closed my eyes.   Well I didn't scratch it but they believe there was some type of bacteria on my contact on the case or there could have been something wrong with the solution.  They gave me antibiotic drops and told me to wait a couple days to wear contacts.  Needless to say I was not a very happy camper for a few days.  Note to any doctor that is going to be working close to a patients face....BRUSH YOUR TEETH!!  I had two different doctors looking in my eye and wow could they have used a good brushing!!!

Thanks to everyone for all the presents and letting us stay with you.  I am now taking donations for a place to store all these toys.

Fall in the Forest

Why oh why do the weekends have to end?  It seems as if the past few weekends we have had something going on.  It so nice to not to be on a schedule or have a million things to do.  We didn't do much at all this weekend.  Saturday was just one of those days where Jason let me sleep in....well he's pretty good at letting me do this almost every weekend.  Today we decided to go to Kanawha State Forest to try and get some more fall pictures.  Yeah I know I am way too obsessed with the camera.  The sun was really bright in some spots and it was really hard to get good pictures without it glaring in our face and making us squint or there just being a huge glare on the picture.  Oh well didn't stop me from snapping away.  Anyways here are some of the pictures.

This is the sign going into the National Forest.  Theres a glare because I was taking it from the car.

Ahhhh....Gotta love the mountains in West Virginia this time of year
