An amazing 3 years!!

*These pictures are not professional just ones I stole from everyone and put on a CD!

This time three years ago I was getting ready to be married. I was so nervous about everything that was going on that day. I was not nervous to be getting married or who I was marrying, but nervous that all the details would fall into place. Looking back its so funny to think about the things brides freak out about going wrong when they are really only small things that no one really notices.  The the fact that my aisle runner broke and it took 3 people to unroll it. No one saw that....just everyone in the church!

Everything turned out perfectly fine, except the photographer. Long story short he tried to leave early before everything big had happened at the reception and the only way to get him to stay was to pay him on the spot more money. I hated we had to do that, but I didn't want to not have pictures to remember it by.

It feels like we were married so long ago, but I remember all the details. Like the fact that I put my wedding dress on at probably around noon, that was the last time I used the bathroom until 11:00 that night!!! Or the fact that we were so busy socializing we hardly ate at the reception so after going back to the hotel that night we ordered pizza for all of our friends that were hanging out.

It was really the greatest thing ever to have all of our friends and family in one place celebrating.  I say all the time I want to get married again.  I want to wear my dress again and have a celebration!  I am begging for a party at 5 years!!

To Jason: Thanks for making the past 3 years so amazing!! You give me the world and then some. You truly do make me so happy even on the worst of days. You always have a shoulder for me to cry on or a smart comment to make me smile. You really are my better half! Thank you for giving me the greatest gift of all, Bailey. Not only are you a great husband, but an amazing father. I love to see you with Bailey and the way she looks at you like your the world. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to stay home with her. I really would be lost if I had to leave her everyday. I love you very much and can't wait to spend forever with you. Thanks for dealing with me and spoiling me! (If any of you know me personally know that I am handful!)

I attached this video and hope it works!  Hope you enjoy because this song is how I feel.  Jason you make me smile!!  Ok I am trying to get this to work but its not happening.  There is no sound coming from it on my end.  I am trying to fix it!!

What's Bailey sayin' ?

First off I would like to say that everyone seems to like the polka dot theme!  I got some great ideas from you all and did some more researching myself.  I went out to Michael's and the dollar store last night and picked up a few things, so I will show those after I get started on making some things.

Anyways I just wanted to post some things that Bailey has been saying.  She doesn't stop talking or rambling on most of time.  I really can't watch the news or a TV show because she talks so much.

She is now saying "Laa You" aka Love you.

She says "hold you" all the time when she wants to be held.

When I tell her she can't do something right now she tilts her head to the side and says "Later?"  I guess I say that too much.

She carries her babies around and looks at them and says "You cute."

She will also look at clothes in her closet or even in a store and say "That's cute."

She started calling "daddy" Jason the other day!  I guess we are on a first name basis these days.

Last night Jason was changing her diaper and she wouldn't listen and he raised his voice saying "Bailey Shae" and she looked at him and said "Bwouse."

She is obsessed with boo boos.  She makes sure we put medicine on them all the time and a band aid.  Every time we do it she points out everywhere she has had a boo boo before.  Then she says "more" because she likes them I guess.

She is into singing songs with hand motions.  We sing patty cake, itsy bitsy spider, hokey pokey, if your happy and you know it, and pearly shells from the Mickey Mouse beach party.

She is really talking all the time and doing so well. We have an evaluation with the speech therapist at the end of June to see where she stands and if we need as many sessions with her.  One thing I have learned is she is now at the age we have to watch what we say.  I was doing something in the kitchen and said "Crap" and she repeated it.  I know its not that bad of a word, but not something I want my 2 year old to say.

PS. Do you know how hard it is to get pop tart out of a dolls mouth that completely opens???

Hope everyone had a great mothers day!  I sure did!  I actually have just enjoyed the whole weekend loving on my sweet little girl.

Opinions please!!!

OK as we all know Baileys birthday is at the end of this month.  She is going to be 2 years old!!!! I can not believe she is going to be so old!  I will save the sob story for another day, we have a huge problem on our hands.  I can not figure out what to do for her birthday!  I bought this dress below in Louisiana a few months back with all intentions of doing her birthday party around this dress.  Well I couldn't get any cute ideas for it.  So I thought I will just go with a Mickey/Minnie theme because she is obsessed with them right now.  Let me remind you...I am not a fan of characters.  I will buy character things when she is old enough to ask for them, until then I choose, especially clothes (sorry Mommy's who like them).

Anyways, my idea with the dress is to do everything in polka dots.  Then do lots of round candy and lollipops.

Opinions please!!  Stick with the dress or go with Mickey/Minnie?????

Jasons 28th started bright and early....

Warning:  Major picture overload. After I started looking through the pictures I realized there were
A LOT!

Saturday was Jason's 28th Birthday!  I hope you had a great day, Jason.  We love you very much and can't wait to spend many more with you!

May is such a busy month for us.  We have Jason's birthday, our anniversary, Mothers day, and Bailey's birthday.  So we try to combine presents for the few holidays this month. Sometimes we don't even do gifts for each other or we just both guy buy something we want ourselves.

Well this Saturday on Jason's birthday we started really early.  We did the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk.  We had to get up at 6 for us to get ready and that's a really early start for us!  My mom has been diagnosed with cancer twice in the past 3 years.  She has gone through chemo twice and radiation once.  My aunt has been diagnosed once before and now they have found more spots on her recently.  So Jason, Bailey, Mom, Dad, Sister, Aunt, and Cousin all walked in the walk.  Its amazing how many people were there to support the cause.

A group of survivors.

Bailey doesn't get up this early......
Can you tell by this look??

We tried to get some pictures together but she wasn't happy about it.

Finally getting in a better mood.
She rode in the stroller most of the time then we let her out for a break.
My sister insisted on an action picture....ha
My aunt and cousin
She insisted that Papaw carry majority of the time
The time we finished the race.
They finished the 3 mile race!!!  They both have bad knees and sometimes my mom can barely walk through the house sometimes because her knee is so bad!  She has been taking her Osteo Bi-Flex to get ready.

Jason, Bailey, and my sister finishing right behind.
Survivors!!

Standing there out of no where Bailey starts posing because that's what she does around the camera.

Clapping for more walkers coming in,.
We tried to get a family picture..ha...as you can tell that didn't happen.
So we got one with out the model!
We also found a grasshopper that Bailey was totally disgusted by.

If you made it through all these pictures thank you!  Hope you enjoyed.
